Anti-Bullying
Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at Daffodil. We take a zero-tolerance approach.
Our Approach
Bullying is defined as repeated behaviour intended to hurt, intimidate, or exclude someone. It can be physical, verbal, emotional, or online (cyberbullying). At Daffodil, bullying in any form is taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated.
From an Islamic perspective, harming or humiliating another person is explicitly prohibited. Our anti-bullying approach is rooted in both statutory requirements and Islamic values of dignity, brotherhood, and justice.
What We Do
- All incidents of bullying are recorded and investigated
- Both the target and the perpetrator receive support
- Parents/carers are informed promptly
- Restorative approaches are used where appropriate
- Cyberbullying is treated with the same seriousness as face-to-face bullying
- Students are educated about bullying as part of PSHE
- We empower students to report concerns confidently
