SEND & Inclusion
We are committed to supporting every student to achieve her full potential.
Our Approach to SEND
Daffodil Grammar School for Girls is committed to inclusive education. We believe that every student, regardless of her learning needs, deserves access to a high-quality education in a supportive environment.
We identify and support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in line with the SEND Code of Practice 2015. Our approach is based on early identification, targeted support, and regular review.
How We Support Students with SEND
- Early identification of learning needs at the point of admission and throughout the school year
- Graduated approach: Assess, Plan, Do, Review
- Support from subject teachers with in-class adaptations and differentiation
- Liaison with parents/carers at every stage
- Referral to external specialists where appropriate
- Support for students with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
