About Daffodil Grammar School for Girls
An independent Islamic girls' secondary school in the heart of East London.
Who We Are
Daffodil Grammar School for Girls is an independent Islamic girls' secondary school located at 163 Commercial Road, London, E1 2DA. We currently offer Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9), welcoming students aged 11 to 14.
We were established with a clear purpose: to provide Muslim girls in London with a world-class education that does not ask them to leave their faith at the door. At Daffodil, academic excellence and Islamic values are not in competition — they are complementary, and they are both non-negotiable.
Our school is a place where every student is known by name, supported in her learning, and challenged to achieve her best. We believe that the right environment — safe, structured, values-led, and academically serious — makes all the difference.
As an independent school, we have the freedom to design a curriculum and culture that genuinely serves our community. We are not bound by the compromises that come with larger, more generic institutions. Everything we do is intentional.
