Personal Development
We develop the whole person — not just the student.
Growing as a Person
At Daffodil, we are explicit about the fact that our goal is not only to produce students who achieve well in exams. We want to develop young women of character — who are resilient, articulate, principled, and ready for life.
Personal development is woven into our curriculum, our pastoral care, our PSHE programme, and our wider school life. It is not a bolt-on — it is central to what we do.
Leadership
Opportunities for students to take on responsibility, lead projects, and develop confidence in their voice.
Resilience
We explicitly teach and model resilience — the ability to face challenges, recover from setbacks, and keep going.
Communication
Speaking, debating, presenting, and listening are practised across subjects and in dedicated activities.
Self-Discipline
Consistency, organisation, and self-management are habits we build from Year 7 onwards.
Aspiration
We talk about futures, careers, and the kind of women our students want to become. No ceiling is put on ambition.
Islamic Character
Adab — excellence of character — is our north star. Kindness, humility, integrity, and service are non-negotiables.
"
The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
We raise students who understand that their education is a gift — and that gifts carry responsibility.
