Faith Life

At Daffodil, faith is not a subject — it is the air we breathe.

Islam at the Heart of School Life

Faith life at Daffodil is not confined to the Islamic Studies classroom. It is woven into the daily rhythm of the school — from the way lessons begin to the way students greet one another, from the values we model in the staffroom to the conversations we have about the world.

We begin each day with Qur'an recitation and du'a. Prayer times are observed and accommodated as a natural part of the school day. Our school calendar reflects the Islamic calendar — key dates such as Ramadan and Eid are honoured, not overlooked.

Daily Qur'an & Du'a

Every school day begins with recitation and supplication — grounding students in remembrance and gratitude.

Salah Provision

Prayer times are facilitated during the school day. Wudu facilities and prayer space are provided.

Islamic Studies

A core timetabled subject covering Qur'an, hadith, fiqh, seerah, and Islamic history.

Arabic Language

Students study Arabic — the language of the Qur'an — as a core subject throughout KS3.

Ramadan Support

We provide specific support during Ramadan, including adjusted timetabling and pastoral care for fasting students.

Islamic Calendar

Our school year recognises and celebrates key Islamic dates. Eid is a school celebration.

"
And He taught Adam the names of all things.

— Al-Baqarah 2:31

Knowledge, in the Islamic tradition, is a divine gift and a sacred responsibility. At Daffodil, we take that responsibility seriously — for every subject, every student, every day.
