Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for every student's success.
Our Attendance Expectations
We expect all students to attend school every day, on time. Missing school — even a small amount — has a significant cumulative impact on learning. Attendance below 90% is classified as persistent absence.
Reporting an Absence
If your daughter is unwell and unable to attend, please contact the school on the first day of absence before 8:30am:
Unexplained absences will be followed up by the school. Persistent absence will be referred to the Local Authority if necessary.
Holidays During Term Time
We do not authorise holidays during term time except in exceptional circumstances. Requests must be made in writing to the Headteacher in advance. Unauthorised absence during term time may be referred to the Local Authority.
Religious Observance
We recognise the significance of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Absence for the day of Eid will be authorised. Please inform the school in advance.
Late Collection
Late collection is treated as a safeguarding matter, not a timekeeping issue. Parents must notify the school promptly of any change to the ordinary collection plan. Our Late Collection Procedure sets out how the school keeps pupils safe if they are not collected on time.
Report an Absence
Please contact us before 8:30am on the day of absence.
